- Nathan Ruff Review added: 2018.10.17★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Took an Astra VXR in with a smoking issue, was diagnosed categorically as a failing turbo. This was replaced at a cost of around £1000 and did not solve the issue. This resulted in 2 further visits, again not solving the issue.
The problem was then solved by another specialist replacing the valve stem oil seals at a fraction of the cost.
Turbo Technics 'excellent customer' service suddenly went completely silent when I suggested that they needed to do something about the fact they'd charged me £1000 for unnecessary work. They also seemed completely unhappy to continue to attempt to fix the vehicle, presumably due to it exposing the fact the original work was unnecessary (but then im just speculating)
Very disappointed considering the company has such an excellent reputation.
