    Darrin Hauxwell Review added: 2018.06.08
Bed was comfy and hotel quiet so had a good night sleep, but the room was on the top floor with no lift. The room looked like they had tried to cram as much into it as possible with 2 bed side cabinets, a wardrobe, a table, some drawers that looked like a filing cabinet, but there was an iron and board so that was good.

The room itself is not all that clean there is dust on the skirting boards, on top of the plug sockets, and mold in the bathroom, maybe I'm being pernickety but working in this trade I notice.

Went down for breakfast and even though the waitress saw me and made eye contact I still sat there for 10 minutes waiting that I had to get up and go to the kitchen door to ask for someone to serve me, I asked for a full breakfast which on the menu was, sausage, bacon, fried egg, beans, fried bread and tomatoes, what arrived was a plate with 2 fried eggs, 3 slices of bacon, 1 sausage and flooded with baked beans, it was nice, but not what I was expecting.

There was a fridge in the room to store any goodies you buy from the local shops in the area.

One of my pet peeves is a dirty extractor fan in the bathroom full of fluff, grease, dead skin cells and the like and my bathroom fan lived up to that, a brush on the end of the vacuum pipe would have done the job. The hotel is not in a great area which is a bit run down, upon check in I asked if town was in walking distance and was told yes, but at night was informed to get a taxi back and not walk it, I did walk it back and it was OK.
